About Me

Driven, creative and analytical are three words that describe me. An essential characteristic of my work is being project-driven and wanting to learn new things. I am a very driven student who enjoys working with marketing and social media.

I am a very driven student who enjoys multitasking. During my studies, I have also been active in various projects. During this spring and autumn, for the second year, I have run a digital marketing campaign for an election committee in Kristianstad. I aim to develop and engage young people's views of association work.

Even so, I worked alongside my studies last winter as a UX and graphic designer for XR solutions in Stockholm. I produced digital data for their production and marketing and was also responsible for the user-friendliness of their website. During this job, I developed my ability to be creative, independent and analytical. I also had a similar work role as vice chairman of the Kristianstad Student Union. I also had the primary responsibility for all social media channels that the organisation operated as well as graphic profile and website. In my role at the Kristianstad student union, I also worked with coaching engaged students in social media and marketing.

In my spare time, I like to run my design projects and always have at least five runnings simultaneously. I use many different tools such as Illustrator, Invision, Photoshop, Figma, CMS and modelling in Blender. I have also started programming in Python.

I am currently studying in my fifth semester of the master's program in Digital service innovation at Halmstad. The program is a design-oriented social science IT education where I got to work and learn about how digital services can create value and be used to solve problems for various social actors. For me personally, I have two courses from the program that I personally feel have developed me a little extra. They are Intelligent services are one of them in this course. We got to work with AI and how as a designer, you can design AI within different services. The second course is Ethics and sustainability in digital service innovation. Sustainability, economy and equality have been a common thread throughout education. Still, in this course, we got to dive into this even more and how to apply this to digital services.

The perfect workplace for me is where I can work on several projects such as campaigns and user-friendliness of pages and drive the company forward.

Education

  • The master's program in digital service innovation is a design-oriented social science IT education. I studied how digital services can be designed to solve problems and create value for various social actors. The studies are based on research and literature in informatics, service science and innovation science. It primarily studies in informatics at an advanced level, but the education also has multidisciplinary elements.

  • The education combines design, technical, communicative and aesthetic aspects of IT design. I learned to create good experiences for users through interaction design, to combine usability and aesthetics in different graphic interfaces and to work with social media, web 2.0 technology, where users collaborate on and share information. I also learn to critically review, assess, improve and create digital products, services and experiences. By combining studies in media, communication, design and technology, to design messages and to create flexible IT design solutions with breadth and quality.

  • Master the basics of digital marketing with our free course accredited by Interactive Advertising Bureau Europe and The Open University. There are 26 modules to explore, all created by Google trainers, and packed full of practical exercises and real-world examples to help you turn knowledge into action.

Work experiences

  • In this work role, I had a wide range of different tasks and responsibilities, which I represented the students at the University of Kristianstad in studying policy issues, working environment, student housing and safety. In my position, I also had the main responsibility for the organisation's marketing on social media and website. I was also responsible for the graphic material that was created.

  • Created graphic material in both image and video. The material was used both in marketing purposes and with the IT department's product development. Where me too created various forms of prototypes for the product. I was also responsible for the company's social media and website.

Work

Save water

Save water

The game aims to get an insight and understanding of ethical and sustainable perspectives concerning digital service design. In this game, we choose the theme of water consumption in everyday life here in Sweden. Inspired by Goal 6 of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals is ensuring the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

This project workflow was based on the Design thinking process, a customer-centric iterative problem-solving process of discovery, ideation and experimentation.

  1. Empathise: We observed different kinds of board games, which led to identifying the problems and understanding the market of educational board games.
  2. Define: Researching facts about water consumption. With the knowledge we gaind we applied it to classic board games, which we tested in three focus groups. This knowledge we based our context map.
  3. Ideate: At this stage, we started sketching ideas and then brainstormed those ideas to create our concept.
  4. Prototype: Creating prototypes based on our concept, the first low-fi physical cards to test the gameplay, and this became more advanced further the project got on.
  5. Test: The focus of the testing was three categories, Understanding the game and the rules, Learning, do the players learn about water consumption and Entertainment, is the game is fun to play, do the players feel motivated to continue playing. When getting insight from user testing, we went back in the process to develop our game further.

My participation in the project, in addition to the above, was the graphic design of the game. Using adobe InDesign and adobe Illustrator in this process.

Go Impact

Go Impact

The goal is to achieve a healthier lifestyle for employees within a corporation by motivating people to get physically active, like running groups or other wellness-based programs. The prototype is called "GO IMPACT", and it mainly focuses on health workers giving professional health assessments in a more efficient way other than a traditional physical check. It would allow health workers to have more accurate results and value the examination, on the side, to benefit the users in a way that is monitoring their health issues and setting up goals at any time. The service is mainly focused on promoting health assessment in accuracy and efficiency to health workers and company organisations with the goal of having positive impacts on employee health assessment with measurable outcomes.

The design process of designing an AI service was based on three smaller phases to create faster iterations throw out the project and o keep stakeholders in the centre from the beginning to the end of development lifecycle.

In this project, my role was to be an expert on the different kinds of users in the AI service. By using and collecting data from user interviews and observation, I created three personas that represented the different kinds of users for the service. From that insight, I could create a customer journey and a context scenario of the service from the three personas' perspective to provide an understanding of how desirable interactions and features should work and how to Go impact would create a service with AI that would be trustworthy with the data collection.

Kristianstad Student unions website

Kristianstad Student union website

The student union had for a long time using the same website, and there were many problems with it. In my interviews with the board of the union, members and students at Kristianstad University. I found out that the feelings of the website were united. It was not user-friendly, unmodern, hard to find information and ugly. Another problem with the site was that it was slow and hard to update with information.

By using the organisation's graphical manual and user testing/discussions in focus groups with both board members and students at Kristianstad University. I created a new website that had only one menu and a clear structure with a modern style. I also changed the CMS hosting site to a service that was much easier to interact with to publish new information.

This website was made in 2020. Today another person has responsibility for the design.
